Born on Maui and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Ryan Bonyadi found his calling in the arts early — stepping onto the stage for the first time in grade school and never quite stepping off. After earning his degree in Environmental Sciences from Washington State University, he traded the classroom for the theater, spending three transformative years in Shanghai performing with the prestigious Urban Aphrodite theatre company in several acclaimed international productions.
Returning to the United States with a hunger to expand his craft, Ryan completed a 120-hour utility stunt certification through the United Stuntmen's Association before settling in Los Angeles to pursue film. Since then, he has starred in numerous short and feature-length films, appeared in international theater productions, and established himself as a named talent in the rapidly growing world of vertical mini-series — the new frontier of storytelling.
A Los Angeles based Actor, Writer, and Producer, Ryan brings both range and a rare physical versatility to every role. His extensive special skills include martial arts (Judo — 1st degree black belt, Muay Thai, Taekwondo — purple belt, and boxing), tactical weapons, Bo-staff, swords, motorcycle, skateboarding, tennis, golf, volleyball, running, and biking.
